Hollingworth School is a great place to be; with a friendly atmosphere, hardworking and well behaved children, dedicated and talented staff, and an interested, supportive community. We pride ourselves in providing opportunities for all our pupils to achieve their full potential educationally, emotionally and socially. Our Ofsted inspection in November 2011 recognised that good care, guidance and support ensure that pupils feel safe, behave well and gain a good understanding of healthy lifestyles.

We are a long established school, having reached our centenary year in 2009, and are committed to the principles of healthy, active and environmentally ‘friendly’ living. The school has an active School Council, which provides a voice for all children throughout the school. We also hold Healthy School status; we regularly support the work of charities – both local and national.

We have an active and very supportive PTA, and an equally proactive Governing Body that works positively in the best interests of the children of the school.
